‘Postage Stamp Protest’ A series of tiny protest signs to be carried through the postal service.
I dream about (and am trying to help raise awareness of) a more peaceful, just Palestine. Violence and discrimination have marked over 50 years of Israeli military occupation of the West Bank and Gaza. In the face of these injustices, we are not helpless. Let us stand together to make a real difference in the lives of millions of Palestinians who have endured decades of injustice, indignity and discrimination. Visit Friends of Al-Aqsa to find out about ways in which we can all be doing more to help.
This ‘Postage Stamp Protest’ collection is just a tiny way of showing solidarity with the Palestinian people. So, I begin with Palestine in mind but its not just about the Palestinian crisis but also about Muslim oppression in the rest of the world. I hope for a world in which all people and the planet itself is respected and treated with love and care.
I love mail, so I’ve put together this new series of postage stamp “protests” consisting of peel-and-stick protest signs that you can add to the postage stamp area of real mail (as long as you also have enough real postage!) Stick’em on letters to friends and family as an act of solidarity or to raise consciousness and inspire action. Also stick’em on your parcels, postcards, other outgoing mail, and anywhere else you’re inspired to!
Peel-and-stick. Its OK to add unofficial ‘postage’ to envelopes as long as you also have enough real postage!
